Pippenger blasts two home runs, Raiders get first win

Cole Pippenger blasted two home runs and drove in four to lead the Central High School Red Raider baseball team to its first win of the season Saturday, dropping Clarksville Northwest 12-2 at Webb School.

Davis McKenzie also launched a home run – the first of his career. McKenzie drove in a pair and earned the win on the mound, tossing 5 innings of shutout ball. He struck out 10 batters and scattered 2 hits. Both runs were unearned.

The Raiders (1-3) will get their first home game of the season at 6 p.m. Monday when Stewarts Creek visits Powers Field in Manchester.
