COFFEE COUNTY CENTRAL BASEBALL 3, WEBB FEET 6

Coffee County fell behind 2-0 in the first and never recovered in a 6-3 road loss to Webb School in Bell Buckle Monday afternoon to open the 2025 spring season.

Coffee County was stymied at the plate, picking up just 4 hits. Colter Neel and Landan Abellana each doubled. Cole Pippenger knocked in a run and Matt More singled home a run in the loss.

Isaiah Deadman was tagged with the loss, giving up 4 earned over 3 innings of work. Coffee County is scheduled to travel to Riverdale for a 4 p.m. Tuesday first pitch.

COFFEE MIDDLE SOFTBALL 7, SIEGEL MIDDLE CAVS 12

After scoring three times in the bottom of the seventh inning to force extra innings, the CMS Lady Raiders ran out of juice in a 12-7 loss to Siegel Monday afternoon in nine innings.

The Lady Raiders committed 8 errors in the loss. Only five of Siegel’s runs were earned.

Briley Jernigan and Paige Chilton each stroked a pair of doubles in the loss for the Lady Raiders. Chilton also tripled, knocked in three and scored three times.

WESTWOOD ROCKETS BAESBALL 8, CASCADE MIDDLE 1

Westwood scored at least 1 run in four straight innings, including a four-run fifth inning to drop Cascade 8-1 Monday afternoon in Manchester.

Luke Christian had a pair of hits in the win and drove in a run.

Kaleb Hazelwood was the winning pitcher, allowing just one earned over five and a third innings of 5-hit ball.
