Middle School Area 6 Tournament start pushed back to Tuesday

The TMSAA AA Area 6 Basketball tournament has been pushed back one day – now scheduled to start on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at Coffee Middle School in Manchester.

In girls play, the top seeded CMS Lady Raiders will play at 6 p.m. Wednesday against the winner of Warren County and Lewisburg. A win in that game would put them in the championship at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Coffee Middle Raider boys have a little more work to do. The Raiders play Harris at 6 p.m. Tuesday and need to win that to advance to the semi-finals at 5 p.m. Wednesday against Whithorne. The boys championship is at 7 p.m. Friday. All area tournament games are at Coffee Middle School in Manchester.
