Manchester native Dr. Amanda Miller was recently named the top family practice physician by the Tennessee Association of Family Physicians at the group’s annual meeting in Gatlinburg.
Dr. Miller graduated CHS in 2004 and received a bachelor’s degree from UTC in 2008, majoring in biology with a double minor in chemistry and theatre. She then did research for a year at NIH in Bethesda, MD before beginning med school at UT Health Science Center in Memphis. Upon graduating med school, she completed her residency and also completed an obstetrics fellowship in Memphis through UT at St. Francis Hospital.
Since 2022, she has served as core faculty of the family medical residency program at Ascension St. Thomas in Murfreesboro and maintains her practice at Ascension Saint Louise Clinic, also in Murfreesboro. She lives in Murfreesboro with her husband, 2 children and their rescue dog.
