It was a slow start for the Coffee County Lady Raiders, but they got things rolling in the second half, including a 28 point fourth quarter to rumble past Warren County 74-41 Tuesday night at Charlie Dalton Gym in McMinnville.

Jules Ferrell’s 21 and Natalie Barnes 20 led the way for Coffee County in the win. Channah Gannon added 12 and Olivia Vinson 10.

“I have been slumping a little and I decided I was going to knock down some shots tonight,” said Ferrell after the game.

The win makes CHS (no. 2 TSWA poll) 21-0 overall and 3-0 District 9-4A play.

Meanwhile, the Raiders boys muzzled Warren County through three quarters, holding the high-scoring Pioneers to only 28 points. But the Raiders could not score themselves in a 46-24 loss. Coffee County trailed 18-13 at the break.

CHS shot only 2 free throws all night compared to Warren County’s 11. The Raiders were led in scoring by Jayden Carter with 6 points.
