WRESTLING: 5 Raiders advance to sectional; Barlow wins region title

Coffee County Central High School wrestling will advance 5 athletes to the Section 2 Tournament after their showing at Saturday’s TSSAA Region 4 Wrestling Championships at Cane Ridge High School.

Headlining the list of Raiders moving on is senior Jake Barlow, who claimed the school’s first ever wrestling region championship with a title in the 150 pound division.

Barlow was also named Outstanding Wrestler and the Region 4 Wrestler of the Year.

Other wrestlers advancing were Sean Sanders in the 120-pound class with a 4th place finish, Austin Green in the 138 with a 3rd place finish, Ian Walker in the 190 with a 4th place spot and Blayne Myers in the 285 with a 2nd place finish.
