The Westwood Rockets continued their dominant start to the 2026 season Friday night, shutting out Eagleville 30-0 to improve to 2-0.
Westwood built the entire 30-point lead before halftime and leaned on another strong defensive performance the rest of the way. The Rockets held Eagleville to fewer than 100 yards of total offense and came up with a goal-line stand from the four-yard line.
Trevor Martin made one of the biggest defensive plays of the night, breaking up a fourth-down pass to end that Eagleville threat. On the very next play, Berott Clem broke loose for a 96-yard touchdown run. Clem finished with 97 yards and a touchdown on just two carries while also contributing several key blocks and tackles.
Brentley Brown was named player of the game after making an impact on both sides of the ball. Brown rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown, recorded two tackles for loss, and returned an interception 35 yards for a score.
Quarterback Brodie Ahlijah finished 2-of-3 passing for 35 yards and added 10 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Westwood has now outscored its first two opponents 68-0 to begin the season. The Rockets move to 2-0 after back-to-back shutout victories.
