As preparations continue for another Coffee County Lady Raider volleyball season, Thunder Radio will sit down Friday for an exclusive preseason interview with head coach Jon Spears.
The interview is scheduled to take place Friday at noon and will give Raider fans an early look at the Lady Raiders heading into the 2026 season.
Among the topics to be discussed will be replacing a talented graduating senior class that included Carrington Saner, Morgen Spears, Allysa Goon, Taylor Brinkley and several other key contributors from last year’s team.
The conversation will also focus on the players expected to lead this year’s squad, including returning seniors Danni Hillis, Cailey Sturgill, Cara Newlin and Paisley Dyer. Spears will also discuss several younger players expected to make an impact this fall, including sophomore Jenslee Nogodula after her record-setting freshman season, junior Hayleigh Harris and other emerging contributors throughout the roster.
In addition, the interview will cover the Lady Raiders’ annual preseason trip to Western Kentucky University, this year’s schedule, offseason preparation, expectations entering the season and Coach Spears’ vision for the program moving forward.
The complete interview will be recorded Friday afternoon, with the full conversation and accompanying stories to be released across Thunder Radio platforms following the interview.
