Terry Wayne Mathis

Terry Wayne Mathis left this life on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Vanderbilt Harton hospital in Tullahoma, Tennessee at the age of 60. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Mathis, brother-in-law, Tim Daniel and grandson, Kyler Haggard.

 Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of service.

A native of Coffee County, Terry was the son of the late Homer Mathis and Sarah Jenell Mathis of Tullahoma and she survives him.

Terry loved the outdoors, listening to the hoot owls and listening to his old radio. He loved spending time with the grandkids and his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed being with all the little ones. His greatest passion was fishing.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Veronica Nacole (Zack) Wright of Viola, TN., Brittany Haggard of Hillsboro, TN., sisters, Patricia Allen Daniel of Tullahoma, TN, Tracey Wellman of Tullahoma, TN., brother-in-law, Robert Wellman of Pelham, TN., grandchildren, Ally Haggard, Brantlee Wright and Taelyn Wright.
