TDOE releases 2022-2023 ACT Data

The Tennessee Department of Education recently released the ACT state results and participation rate for the 2023 graduating class. The overall statewide participation rate for the 2023 graduating class improved to 99 percent, with 64,422 graduates tested. This year, the state average composite ACT score remained steady at 19.0 for the 2023 graduating class

Students in the Coffee County school system saw an average composite score of 18.8 – just a tick below the state average. That is up from 18.7 the in the previous year. Coffee County’s best score came in reading, with an average score of 19.6 among all students.

Tullahoma schools average composite score was right at the state average at 19.0 – down from 19.4 the previous year. Reading at 19.5 was the highest subject score for Tullahoma schools.
