TBR: Jaxen Waggoner Named 2024 Community College Student of the Year

On March 28, 2024 the Tennessee Board of Regents announced the 2024 Community College Student of the Year. Congratulations to Manchester resident, Jaxen Waggoner from Motlow State Community College.

Jaxen was nominated for consideration for the award by her instructors. She then wrote an essay, submitted letters of recommendation and participated in a lengthy interview process.

Jaxen is the Daughter of Anne Hosea-Majors and Justin Waggoner.

The Tennessee Board of Regents system is the largest system of higher education in Tennessee. The board sets policies and guidelines that govern all TBR institutions. TBR establishes, governs, manages, and controls the Colleges of Applied Technology and Community College System of Tennessee.
