Two Coffee County Central wrestlers left the Williamson Ag Expo Center with medals from the TSSAA state meet Saturday: Ellysia Jennings and Jianna Bare
Jennings won her first match against Morgan Ragsdale of Bartlett High School before losing in a pin fall to Jonna Patterson of Blackman. Jennings followed that with four straight wins to get third place.
Meanwhile, Jianna Bare scrapped together a sixth place finish. After losing her first round match, Bare put together three straight wins before losing in the fifth-sixth place match to finish sixth. Bare beat Olivia Bishop of Spring Hill, Summer Flores of Riverdale before losing to Ali Bryant of Blackman. She then fell to Kemoria Turner of Cleveland.
