Robert Danley Vaughn

Robert Danley Vaughn, age 74 of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away October 15, 2020 at the Donaldson Care Center. 

He was born November 22, 1945 in Dothen, Alabama to the late Ruth Scott (mother) and David Vaughn (father). He worked as a truck driver for nearly 20 years until he retired and became a full-time fan of the Alabama football team. 

He is survived by his sister, Ann Fountain, his son, Robert Danley Vaughn II, 4 granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson, along with several friends he met along the way that he considered family.

Due to the unfortunate circumstances of COVID-19, the family is not able to hold an in person service at Robert’s home church at First Baptist, but instead asks that people will continue to remember this faithful servant of God in their thoughts and prayers.
