Reserve your trees for Tennessee Tree Day

The 10th Annual Tennessee Tree Day is organized each year by Tennessee Environmental Council (TEC), a nonprofit organization.

They anticipate planting their one millionth tree in 2024 and want you to be part of this historic milestone. The Tree Program was founded in 2007 with a goal of planting one million trees.

There are more than 12 native species to choose from and more than 160 pick-up sites to choose from.

Now through March 4th: online tree reservations are open to the public, Tennessee Tree Day 2024 is the largest community tree-planting project of its kind in America, taking place on Saturday, March 16, 2024. You and other Tennessee residents will collectively pick up and plant more than 100,000 native tree seedlings in all 95 Tennessee counties during the weekend of March 16th. The trees are yours to plant on your own property and will enhance our environment and communities for generations to come.

March 15th or 16th: Pick up your bare-root tree seedlings at your selected site (check hours for your site and which days you can pick up)

March 16th: Plant your trees on Tennessee Tree Day 2024

1331 McArthur Street, Manchester, TN 37355, Friday, March 15: 8am – 5pm and

Saturday, March 16: 8am – 12pm
