MWSD Employee earns significant TN State Certification

Austin Haithcote, with the Manchester Water and Sewer Department has completed a two year apprenticeship to obtain a Wastewater III Certification.

Austin Haithcote began the 2-year program in October of 2020. The program was designed to prepare Haithcote for certification in Wastewater Systems Operations Specialist.  The program combined on-the-job-training with related technical instruction and coursework. 

Manchester Mayor, Marilyn Howard hosted a ceremony at City Hall on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Austin received his certificate at this ceremony.
