Lee won’t extend stay-at-home order past April 30

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced Monday that his stay at home order will not extend past April 30, and he also announced most businesses in the state will begin reopening next week.

Lee said social distancing must continue, but he added that the “economic shutdown cannot [continue.]”

Protests took place outside the Tennessee Capitol Monday calling for the state to end the stay at-home restrictions.
