Jumbo screen going up at CHS this weekend; elementary basketball games moved

Coffee County Central High School will begin installation of its new jumbo video board in Joe Frank Patch Memorial Gymnasium this weekend.

As a result, Elementary League Basketball games have been moved to Coffee Middle School, announced CHS Lady Raider head coach Joe Pat Cope.

The board is expected to be operational for the next home game – which will be Saturday, Dec. 11 against Rockvale. The board, which cost in the $100,000 range, is 100% paid for by community donations and sponsorships.
