James Wilburn Riddle

James Wilburn Riddle, of Murfreesboro, passed this life on Thursday, December 28th, 2023 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital at the age of 80. Mr. Riddle was born in Tullahoma to the late Wilburn and Martha Frances Tims Riddle. During his life he worked as an insurance contractor and was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Riddle loved going to UT Football games and visiting with all of his grandchildren. He was generous to a fault, which will be remembered by all those who knew and loved him. Mr. Riddle is survived by his wife, Jennie Riddle; two sons, Alan (Karen) Riddle, and Mike (Jennifer) Riddle; six grandchildren, Ashley Siler, Austin Riddle, Dustin Thomason, Briley Iverlett, Brennan Iverlett, and Knox Riddle; six great-grandchildren, Abby Siler, Jacob Siler, Gracien Siler, Trey Siler, Kyleigh Riddle, and Karter Riddle; two brothers, Bobby (Judy) Riddle, and Norman (Lisa) Riddle; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 11:00am-1:00pm with the funeral to immediately follow at 1:00pm with Bro. Jimmy Keasey officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
