Gill Ramsden

A well loved Man leaves us at 67 .  Gill Ramsden passed this life on Friday December 15,2023

Gill was a loving husband , brother , uncle and loyal friend . He served his country in the military from 1975-1987 as a flight engineer . 

He then became a pilot working with several airlines throughout his career finally retiring with SouthWest Airlines in August of 2020 .

One year to the month he was diagnosed with throat cancer being told it was one of the easiest to cure . After 2 plus years fighting the beast and treatment repercussions  , he died peacefully at home surrounded by love . 

Gill was raised in Marietta , Ga. and passed away in Lynchburg , Tn. The time in between he was able to travel and see the world . Along with flying , he loved driving , sometimes a little too fast , as well as playing golf and boating . 

He leaves behind a faithful wife in Tn . along with family in Georgia , Florida , Montana and Texas , friends – everywhere .
