George Lincoln Miller, of Cowan, passed this life on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 at the age of 58. George was born in Winchester to the late Wayne and Faye Elliott Miller and was the long-time manager of Doric of Tennessee in Cowan. George was a man who found joy in the simple things and comfort in the place he called home. He loved living in Cowan, and if you were looking for him, chances are you could find his vehicle parked somewhere around town, enjoying the familiar sights, visiting with friends, or simply taking in the day. Cowan wasn’t just where George lived-it was where he felt he belonged. He will be remembered for his quiet presence, kind heart, and the connections he made with those around him. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Marie Miller. He is survived by his daughters, Jordan (Brad) Mantooth, and Jennifer Stewart; his son, Travis Stewart; two brothers, Earl Miller and Gary (Hilary) Miller; two sisters, Brenda (Roger) Rollings and Marshia (David) Williams; his grandchildren, Aly, Carson, Brooklyn, Cheyenne, Holden, Cole, and Cason; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful grand dog, Ranger, who held a special place in his heart. George’s legacy will live on through the love he shared with his family, the friendships he treasured, and the memories made in the town he loved so dearly. He will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18th, 2026 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 19th, 2026 at 5:00pm at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery, 104 Willow Street South in Cowan.
