Deerfield elementary receives grants for musical instruments


Deerfield Elementary School in Coffee County announced it has received grants from the CMA Foundation and the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation.

The grants will provide the school with musical instruments to expand and develop skills that can be carried into other subject areas, according to the school.

Among the instruments that will be purchased will be multiple styles of Xylophones, 2 hand drum sets and 4 steel drums with stands. See the full list below:
