Dangerous low temps prompt weekend wind chill advisory for Middle Tennessee

After getting above freezing for the first time in about five days on Thursday, temperatures across Middle Tennessee are forecast to plummet to near zero Friday and Saturday night.

Low temperatures will be near 8 degrees Friday night and around 3 degrees Saturday night with wind chill factors are expected fall below zero across Middle Tennessee, including Coffee County. It is advisable to wear layers when outdoors and remain inside when possible.

AAA recommends traveling with extra blankets and coats in case of a roadside emergency.
