CTC TOURNAMENT: Third quarter costly for Raiders in opening loss

The Coffee Middle School Red Raiders fell to Warren County in the first round of the CTC Tournament, 44-35 on Wednesday night in Shelbyville.

The Raiders Led 18-11 at the halftime break. But the Pioneers outscored CMS 15-1 in the third quarter. CMS recovered in the fourth quarter but were still outscored 18-16.

Evan Kirby led the way for CMS in the paint with 17 points. Cole Pippenger finished with 9, Brennan Young 4, Brady Wright 3 and Colter Neel 2.
