Coffee County, Manchester government offices to reopen Thursday

Coffee County Mayor Judd Matheny

After closing Tuesday and Wednesday due to inclement weather and hazardous travel conditions, Coffee County Mayor Judd Matheny has announced that county government non-emergency offices will reopen on Thursday, January 18 under normal operating hours.

Employees are asked to use discretion when it comes to safely navigating roads and to inform supervisors of any delays or inabilities to travel.

Manchester Mayor Marilyn Howard is also reopening Manchester City Hall offices on Thursday. Manchester Recreation Complex will operate under slightly different hours: 7:30am – 8 pm.

According to Coffee County Circuit Court Clerk Jenny Anthony, General Sessions Criminal Court Jail Arraignments will be at 11 a.m. and all other cases will be rescheduled to February 22nd. Juvenile Court will be starting on time at 8:30 a.m. The office will open at regular time with limited staff.
