Coffee County and City of Manchester announce Halloween and Haunted House on the Square

A couple of annual Halloween traditions are coming together in one central location, this Halloween.

“Safe on the Square”, the City of Manchester’s annual trick-or-treating event, hosted by the Manchester City Fire Department and the Manchester City Police Department, will be held on the downtown square, on Halloween from 3-5 PM. Trick or treaters are encouraged to wear their costumes and visit with participating businesses.

Also on the square, this year, will be “Halloween on the Square and Haunted House”, hosted by Coffee County and the City of Manchester. Funds from the County’s Tourism budget will go towards this event. Coffee County Commissioners, Jimmy Hollandsworth and Joey Hobbs (also a Manchester City Alderman) will be guests on “Connecting Coffee County” on Wednesday, October 25th at 3PM to explain more about the County and City collaborating on the event.

Tyler Hickerson, is the Manchester City Fire Department’s resident haunted-house-enthusiast and will be designing the haunted house for the event.
