Coffee Cares is inviting golfers and local businesses to support its mission by participating in its Fourth Annual Golf Tournament, the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year.
The tournament will be held Monday, Aug. 24, at WillowBrook Golf Course in Manchester. The event will feature a four-man scramble with lunch provided for participants.
“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year,” said Lori Watson with Coffee Cares.
Coffee Cares is a Coffee County nonprofit organization that helps individuals and families facing financial hardships due to medical expenses. According to the organization’s mission, Coffee Cares is dedicated to providing compassionate support and financial relief to those burdened by the high costs of medical treatment, allowing them to focus on their health and recovery rather than medical bills.
The organization works to make healthcare more accessible for people in the Manchester community, regardless of their financial circumstances, by assisting with medical costs and needed medical equipment.
Registration is now open for teams interested in competing in the tournament. Businesses and individuals who would like to support the event but do not wish to play can also participate through sponsorship opportunities.

Organizers hope the annual tournament will once again bring the community together to raise funds that directly benefit Coffee County residents facing unexpected medical expenses.
