Cindy Lou Stokes Taylor

Cindy Lou Stokes Taylor, 65, of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital following an extended illness.  Ms. Taylor was born in Long Island, New York on November 8, 1958, to the late William John Stokes and Murial Froehlich Stokes.  Ms. Taylor attended Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma and received her A.S. Degree in Accounting.  She was employed for many years at CK Electronics before becoming disabled.  She was of the Baptist Faith.  Before becoming disabled she enjoyed crafts, woodworking, going to yard sales and auctions.  Ms. Taylor also loved and enjoyed going on Cruises.  When she had become unable to get around like she once was, she enjoyed “gaming” on the Internet and especially playing Township.  She dearly loved her family and spending time with them and her 3 birds.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family and will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by her son in 2011, Richard Thomas Taylor.  She is survived by her son, Michael Stokes and wife, Judy of Dayton, Tenn., Daughter, Cindy Long and husband, Charles of Hendersonville, Tenn., Grandchildren; Elizabeth Hegwood of Tullahoma, Cindy Harrell of Hermitage, Tenn., Maykala Harrell  and Serenity Harrell both of Hendersonville, Richard Thomas Taylor, III of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Slade Sims of Dayton, Tenn. and 6-Great-grandchildren.

Services for Ms. Taylor will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 29, 2023, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with the Pastor of Center Point Baptist Church, officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday Evening, December 28, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

It was Ms. Taylors wishes that she be cremated after services.
