CHS basketball hits the floor for post Christmas tournaments Wednesday

Coffee County Central basketball teams will hit the court about 150 miles apart on Wednesday.

The Red Raider boys will tip off the Don Webb Classic at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Scottsboro, Alabama. They will take on Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots. That game will be broadcast live on Thunder Radio WMSR with pregame beginning at 8:50 a.m. (107.9 FM, 1320 AM, Manchester Go App).

If the Raiders win they will play again at 7:30 p.m. Thursday against the winner of Prattville and Scottsboro. A loss would drop the Raiders into consolation bracket play at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Lady Raiders will hit the floor even earlier Wednesday – taking on Alcoa at 8 a.m. Central (9 a.m. Eastern) in the Lenoir City Christmas Tournament. A win puts the Lady Raiders playing at 3 p.m. (Eastern) Thursday. A loss puts them in another early, 9 a.m. (Eastern) start on Thursday. Stay up to date with results at
