Breaking News: Shooting at Gun Range in Manchester Being Investigated

Coffee County District Attorney General, Craig Northcott, told Thunder Radio that an October 26, 2025 shooting in Manchester is being investigated.

DA Northcott confirmed that a female is deceased as a result of the shooting.

The incident happened at a gun range at 1862 Sixteenth Model Rd. in Manchester.

In a press release from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department, the incident was confirmed:

At approximately 3:40 pm, on October 26th, officers from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a gunshot victim at the 1800 block of Sixteenth Model Road.

Upon arrival, officers located a 53-year-old female who was deceased from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The investigation remains ongoing, and the Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause and manner of death.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
