Bennie Leon Roberts

Bennie Leon Roberts, age 77, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born in Woodbury, Tennessee, on March 6, 1949, Bennie was the son of the late Leon and Ollie Mae Roberts. A man of honor and dedication, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Bennie was a lifelong farmer who possessed a deep love and respect for the land. Over the course of his life, he poured his heart and hard work into his farm, operating a dairy farm before transitioning to raising beef cattle—his true passion—and working row crops, including wheat, corn, and soybeans. Beyond his dedication to farming, Bennie enjoyed the quiet peace of fishing whenever he got the chance. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend.
