BASKETBALL: Coffee Middle caps off perfect regular season

The Coffee Middle Lady Raider basketball walked onto the basketball court for 20 games this season.

They walked off the floor winners every time.

Coffee Middle went to Woodbury Thursday night and beat Cannon County 49-25 – capping off a perfect 20-0 regular season.

“Proud of these kids for a perfect regular season,” said CMS head coach David Vinson. “But we still have work to do.”

Three Lady Raiders got into double-figure scoring Thursday night, paced by eighth grader Hayleigh Harris with 15 points. Adalyn Clark finished with 14 and Avery Pruitt added 11.

The Lady Raiders will have the number one seed in the CTC tournament, which starts next week in Tullahoma.
