Coffee County Central senior Timothy Henderson officially has a home for college baseball.
Henderson on Tuesday signed with Trevecca Nazarene University.
“I like the coaches – they are open and honest with me,” explained Henderson. “And it’s really close to home, like a 52 minute drive from my house. Me and my family talked it over and decided that was the best place to go.”
Henderson, a left-hander with explosive stuff on the mound, spent most of 2023 as a reliever for the Red Raiders. He had arguably his biggest performance of the season in the district championship, working 6.2 innings and striking out 9 in the win.
While still undecided, Henderson said he plans to major in something business related.
